Public Computers
The Library offers an area for you to conduct your everyday computer
needs, whether it's checking e-mail, typing up a document, doing
research or just looking up a book online - we are here for you.
Our public computers, located across the
circulation counter, offer access to the Internet, the library’s
catalog, and Microsoft Office products. All computers are available to
anyone on a walk-up basis as long as the computer is not in use. Two
additional public computers are located in our children's library, The
Growing Room. A valid
library card or PC card is required to use the computers.
The Library also offers laptops for use
within the library.
Wireless Network
Any laptop equipped with a
wireless network card should be able to access the Gardendale-Martha
Moore Public Library wireless network. Most network cards will
automatically search for and find the strongest wireless access point
and connect you to it as long as your card is set to obtain the IP
address automatically and to obtain the DNS server address
automatically.

Printing is available from all public computers, however the
laptops do not print at this time.
Printing cost is $.20
per page.
