If you have a valid Jefferson County library card, you can now access a multitude of online databases from home twenty-four hours a day. These databases include magazine and newspaper indexes, a health reference center, Books in Print, specialized youth indexes and more. Funding for these databases is provided by the Jefferson County Library Cooperative and the Alabama Virtual Library.
